On a bright spring afternoon, Diemersdal Wine Estate in Durbanville came alive under golden sunlight. The brand shoot highlighted their Pinotage, Pinotage Reserve, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, Pinot Noir, and Malbec, styled alongside a cheese and meat platter prepared by the estate. We also captured their signature gift box; a thoughtful collection of wine, nuts, olive oil, and local condiments.
Adding an extra touch of charm was Diemersdal’s resident Ridgeback, a friendly farm dog who greeted us with wagging tail and became part of the story.

The story: Wine, natural light & local character
Spring in Durbanville is a season of colour and light, and Diemersdal Wine Estate provided the perfect canvas for a fresh, vibrant brand shoot.
Set against rolling vineyards and historic Cape Dutch architecture, every detail captured Diemersdal’s legacy of exceptional winemaking paired with a welcoming farm atmosphere.
The wines took centre stage, glasses of deep red Pinotage glowing in the sun, crisp Sauvignon Blanc shimmering like spring light, and Syrah, Pinot Noir, Malbec, and Pinotage Reserve showcased with understated elegance. The estate’s platter of local cheeses, cured meats, seasonal fruit, and crusty bread completed the sensory experience, evoking the feeling of a long, leisurely afternoon spent at Diemersdal’s tasting room.
Capturing the gift of Diemersdal
One highlight of the shoot was Diemersdal’s beautifully curated gift box. A celebration of local craftsmanship. Featuring wine, nuts, olive oil, and premium condiments, the box represents the estate’s thoughtful approach to gifting. It was styled to reflect both sophistication and the approachable warmth Diemersdal is known for.
The Ridgeback host
No visit to Diemersdal is complete without meeting their friendly Ridgeback dog, who roams the grounds like an ambassador of the farm. He joined the shoot, followed me around the farm and occasionally stealing the spotlight. His presence added a touch of authenticity and fun, reminding visitors that Diemersdal isn’t just a place to taste exceptional wines – it’s a place to feel at home.
