There’s something incredibly special about photographing people with their pets in the place they all call home. For the Fouché family, that meant a relaxed afternoon in Durbanville, filled with love, cuddles, and treats as we captured the essence of their bond.
The stars of the shoot were Harvey — a light-coloured pug with the biggest personality — and Fudge, a stunning brown-striped cat with piercing eyes and graceful poise. These two fur-siblings may have very different energies, but they share one thing in common: their home is their kingdom, and their human mom is their queen.

Harvey is the kind of dog who makes everyone smile. With his expressive face, gentle temperament, and a slightly clumsy charm, he brought warmth and humour to the shoot. Whether nestled on the couch or exploring the garden, he was full of curiosity and cuteness.
Fudge, on the other hand, is the picture of feline sophistication. With her tiger-like coat and confident stance, she moved with elegance and observed our every move with quiet intensity. She clearly runs the household — and we were honoured to be granted her presence in a few precious frames!
